Nutrition HK(the "Platform") is powered by NuQuotient. Co (the "Company"). By using the Platform, you (the "User") agrees to the terms and conditions set forth below. These terms of use ("Terms of Use") govern your use and access of the websites, content, products and services ("Service") made available by the Platform.
By using the Platform, and/or by registering with the Platform, you signify that you agree to these terms of use, including that you consent to the information practices disclosed in the Privacy Policy, and that you consent to resolve any dispute that you may have with the Platform or Company under the legislation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Your access and use of the service constitutes your agreement to be bound by the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to it, you may not access or use the Services.
1. About Nutrition HK
The Services constitute an electronic platform that enables users of Nutrition HK’s websites provided as part of the Services to access the nutrition and health materials, and schedule consultation services with independent third party providers of such services.
Some material and content are viewable without registration, but to actively participate or store you information, you must register as a member and authorize the use and disclosure of your personal and/or nutrition and health information for purposes of allowing Platform to provide the Service and as otherwise disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
2. User Accounts
You are required to register and maintain an active personal user account ("Account") in order to enjoy the most aspects of the Services. Account registration requires you to submit to the Platform certain personal information, such as name, mobile phone number, email, ageand medical history.
You agree to maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date information in your Account. Your failure to do so may result in your inability to access and use the Services. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, and you agree to maintain the security and secrecy of your Account username and password at all times. Unless otherwise permitted by Platform, you may only possess one Account.
3. Assess and Use of Service
The Information that you obtain or receive from Nutrition HK, and its employees, contractors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, volunteer or otherwise on the Platform is for informative, educational and scheduling purposes only.
The information provided on the Platform is not intended as a substitute for, nor does it replace, professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not disregard, avoid or delay obtaining medical advice from a qualified health care professional because of any information you access on the Platform. Do not use the site for emergency medical needs. Your use of information and service provided is solely at your own risk. Nothing stated or posted on the Platform could be taken as the practice of medicine or the provision of medical care.
No dietician/patient relationship
No licensed clinical nutrition professional/patient relationship is created by using Nutrition HK or through the use of the Platform.
We make no guarantees, representations or warranties, whether expressed or implied, with respect to professional qualifications, expertise, quality of work or other information herein. Further we do not in any way endorse any individual described herein. In no event shall Nutrition HK shall be liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on such information.
We have no control over, and cannot guarantee the availability of any nutritionist or registered dietician at any particular time. We will not be liable for cancelled or otherwise unfulfilled appointments or any injury resulting therefrom, or for any other injury resulting from the use of the Platform or Services whatsoever.
You are strongly advised to perform your own investigation prior to selecting a nutrition professional by making confirming telephone calls to the appropriate licensing authorities to verify listed credentials and education.
Editorial control
We make the Nutrition HK available as a service to external consumers, student members, nutritionists and registered dietician for the purposes of providing an informative and educational resource. We may, but have no obligation to, have non-user-posted information reviewed by the Platform’ editorial personnel.
It is important to note, however, that the timeliness and accuracy of any or all of the Information is not guaranteed. Neither the authors, the editorial personnel, nor any other parties who has been involved in the preparation or publication of this work can assure you that the Information contained herein is in every respect accurate or complete, and they are not responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information.
You are encouraged to independently confirm the Information contained herein with other sources and to seek the advice of a registered dietician or qualified physician or medical provider.
Product and Services

Any products and/or services represented on the Platform by advertisers, sponsors, and other participants on the Platform, either paid or unpaid, are presented for your awareness and do not necessarily imply appropriateness for any particular individual or prediction of effectiveness, outcome or success
4. User Responsibilities
The usual and customary charges for any consultation services rendered by service providers on the Platform will apply and will be entirely your responsibility.
You are responsible for all use of the Platform and your Credentials. You may not authorize third parties to use your Account. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your Account to any other person or entity. You agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the Services, and you may only use the Services for lawful purposes. You will not, in your use of the Services, cause nuisance, annoyance, inconvenience, or property damage to any other party. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any of the Services, User Accounts or computer systems or networks, through hacking, password mining or any other means.
5. Copyright and Intellectual property
Platform permits you to assess the textual, audio, and/or visual content and information related to nutrition and health for educational purposes.
You may not: (i) remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices from any portion of the Services; (ii) link to, mirror or frame any portion of the Services; (iii) cause or launch any programs or scripts for the purpose of scraping, indexing, surveying, or otherwise data mining any portion of the Services or unduly burdening or hindering the operation and/or functionality of any aspect of the Services; (vi) attempt to gain unauthorized access to, or impair any aspect of the Services, the user accounts and its related systems or networks.
Except for Posted Content that you or any other visitors to the Platformsubmit, all of the Information available on or through the Services and/or Platform, including without limitation, text, photographs, graphics and video and audio content, is owned by Nutrition HKand our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws, other proprietary rights, and international treaties. You acknowledge that the Services and any underlying technology or software used in connection with the Services contain Nutrition HK’sproprietary information. We give you permission to use the aforementioned content for personal, non-commercial purposes only and do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you by virtue of permitting your use of the Services. You may print, download, and store information from the Platformfor your own convenience, but you may not copy, distribute, republish, sell, or exploit any of the content, or exploit the Platformin whole or in part, for any commercial gain or purpose whatsoever. Except as is expressly and unambiguously provided herein, Nutrition HKand its suppliers do not grant you any express or implied rights, and all rights in thePlatformand the Services not expressly granted byNutrition HKto you are retained by Nutrition HK
6. Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is". Platform makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the reliability, timeliness, quality, suitability or availability of the Services or any services or goods requested through the use of the Services, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Platform does not guarantee the quality, safety or ability of third party providers. You agree that the entire risk and liability arising out of your use of the Services, and any services or good requested in connection therewith, remain solely with you, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
Platform shall not be liable for incident, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damage, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury or property damage related to, in connection with, or otherwise resulting from any use of the Services, even if Platform has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Nutrition HK and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers and other users harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use of the Services or services or goods obtained through your use of the Services; (ii) your breach or violation of any of these Terms of Use; (iii) Nutrition HK’s use of your Content; or (iv) your violation of the rights of any third party.
9. Changes to the Terms of Use
Supplemental terms may apply to certain Services, such as policies for a particular event, activity or promotion, and such supplemental terms will be disclosed to you in connection with the applicable Services. Supplemental terms are in addition to, and shall be deemed a part of, the Terms of Use for the purposes of the applicable Services. Supplemental terms shall prevail over these terms of use in the event of a conflict with respect to the applicable Services.
Platform may amend the Terms of Use to the Services from time to time. Amendments will be effective upon posting at this location or the amended policies or supplemental terms on the applicable Services. Your continued access or use of the Services after amendments constitutes your consent to be bound by the amended Terms of Use
